Alicja Kajtanowska

Alicja Kajtanowska (born December 26, 1992, in Gdańsk) is a visual artist specializing in painting and drawing. She graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, where she completed her diploma in 2017 under Professor Maciej Świeszewski. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Philosophy at the University of Gdańsk. Kajtanowska is a resident of the Pomeranian Culture Incubator and this year's scholarship recipient from the City of Gdańsk (Cultural Scholarship for Individuals 2021).

he has lived her whole life in the Tri-City area and currently resides in Gdańsk. Her personal interests include philosophical hermeneutics and aesthetics.

She has participated in numerous exhibitions and artistic projects in Poland including various solo and group exhibitions:

-  Creation and implementation of an online art workshop project based on the cultural heritage of Gdańsk, in collaboration with the Education Department of the Gdańsk City Museum (January 9-30, 2021).

- Creation and implementation of an outdoor art workshop project for the Gdańsk Museum (July 25 - August 29, 2020).

- Collaboration with the Gdańsk Museum on the project "Nowy Port - new perspective," conducting mural workshops and creating a mural with the Foundation "Dom na Skraju" (August 30, 2019).

- Co-creation of a mural with students from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk under Professor Maciej Świeszewski.
