‘ Everything that surrounds me inspires me, although one of the most important sources of
inspiration and the strongest driving forces of my artistic activity has undoubtedly been the theatre.
My creative path began in the theatre, but more than the theatrical space itself, I was intrigued by
the human beings who existed within it. My fascination with this subject is evident throughout my painting—not only in the way I express myself, through intense colour, or by combining almost realistic figurativeness with abstraction and dynamic representations of figures, but also in treating my paintings as a kind of study of human moods.
As a result of portraying such strong and diverse emotions, I often work on larger formats and sometimes expand them by adding additional panels, while experimenting with bold and decisive colour combinations. I create intuitively, and in order to express emotions, I subconsciously choose appropriate forms, symbolism, and dynamic colours.
The reality I depict is not a faithful reconstruction of what surrounds me. It is a world rebuilt through the prism of my own feelings and experiences, a record of my observations of human nature.’

Tworzę intuicyjnie, by wyrazić emocje, podświadomie wybieram odpowiednie formy, symbole i barwy.
