Karolina Zimnicka

Karolina Zimnicka was born in 1982 in Gdynia, Poland  

Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Ceramic artist, industrial designer and interdisciplinary artist.

She works as an independent designer, collaborating with architects and developers.

In her practice, she explores clay through various techniques, experimenting with diverse materials and alternative methods of firing with open flame.

Her works have been presented at numerous Polish and international exhibitions, including the Ceramics Triennial in Slovenia and the Biennale in Spain.

She took part in Tenerife Art Residency at VivaQi Gallery in 2025. 

She has also recently revisited fine art painting.

At the beginning of 2025 she was a resident artist at VivaQi gallery in Tenerife and is taking part in group exhibition Viva Tenerife! in Gdańsk, Poland.
