Cosma Gallery from Poland and VivaQi Gallery from UK/Spain have entered into a partnership aimed at supporting artists by organising artistic residencies in Tenerife.

The idea was initiated by Anita Cempa and Anita Isabelle Klein – gallery owners, who shared a passion for art and a desire to create an international creative space.

The residencies include exhibitions, meetings with the public, and presentations of artists' work.This international partnership opens new opportunities for artists and promotes cultural exchange between Poland and Spain, building a support network for independent creativity.

The exhibition Viva Tenerife! presents the work of twelve artists who participated in artistic residencies in Tenerife.Their paintings are personal reflections, effects, and visual impressions inspired by the impact of emissions— its landscapes, light, culture, and the spirit of places.

The exhibition will be presented in the unique space of Olivia Star – in the lobby, with the palm house as a backdrop, further emphasising the subtropical nature of the location with a supportive setting, created in an atmosphere full of nature and light.

All works are for sale and an option to commission different sizes in artist’s styles.

Participating in the exhibition are:

Anna Bocek is an artist whose work stems from personal stories, emotions and everyday observations. Her journey began in the theatre, through a fascination with human presence and sensitivity. The central motif of her work is the body—a source of energy, strength, and beauty. She paints real figures and imagined heroines, revealing their inner worlds. More…

Karolina Zimnicka is an interdisciplinary artist, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Born in Gdynia, she runs the Nomad Ceramics Studio, where she creates both functional ceramics and experimental sculptures.Her work explores clay using various techniques, employs alternative firing techniques (e.g., raku, saggar, live fire), and experiments with texture, form, and material. Themes in her work include a critique of gender stereotypes, social hierarchy, ideas related to the body, femininity, and the new symbolism of human presence. More…

Rita Staszulonok – a professional artist born in Minsk, a graduate of the Belarusian State Academy of Fine Arts, specialising in monumental and decorative art.She has lived in the Gdańsk area since 2010. She has had over twenty solo exhibitions, participated in artistic residencies, and won numerous art scholarships. She is one of the few contemporary artists who practice egg tempera. She pays close attention to the technique of her work, values the artisanal aspect of the medium, and the nobility of tradition. Her works are characterized by a passion for color and detail, layers of paint, and meaning.Her favorite technique is egg tempera on board – she values the artisanal aspect of the medium and the nobility of tradition. Anita Cempa – an artist and gallerist who has for years combined her work with the promotion of contemporary art. In her work, she explores the relationship between space, color, and emotion. As a curator and gallery owner, she supports artists, creating a space open to dialogue. Her work combines passion, professionalism and aesthetic sensitivity.

Natalia Biegalska – a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, specializing in textile art and graphic design. She is the author of the series "Painting with Knives," presented at exhibitions in Manila. Her works are in the collections of prominent Filipino politicians and collectors. Eugenia Rewera – a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk and Sheridan College in Toronto. An artist, designer, and illustrator, she has collaborated with Lewis and Young Digital Planet, among others. She currently focuses on painting inspired by the female body. Her expressive, semi-figurative works combine form, color, and movement. She has exhibited her paintings in galleries in Barcelona and London, and her works have found their way into private collections around the world. More…

Marta Wycech – a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź and a product designer. She creates abstract, minimalist paintings inspired by nature and design. Anita Isabelle Klein is an artist and an interior designer working between London and Spain, with connections to Poland through her studies at the PLSP Art School in Gdynia. She creates in various media, focusing on multidimensional forms that work both visually and spatially. 
Her designs enhance the harmony of spaces—both private and commercial interiors—by combining art with design. She also operates under the VivaQi brand, offering patterns and products for interior design and fashion. More…

Alina Walkusz, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, has been creating paintings in the styles of Post-Impressionism, Expressionism, Fauvism, and Abstractionism for 30 years. Agata Grendowicz is a painter, architect and curator. She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Gdańsk University of Technology. From the beginning of her career, she has combined set design and exhibition organization—she was a curator and gallery manager at the Baltic Sea Cultural Center in Gdańsk. Her works often depict female figures, drawing on early 20th-century styles and inspired by fashion graphics and retro aesthetics, with clean forms and contrasting, strong colors. Her work has been presented in solo exhibitions in Poland and group exhibitions abroad; her works are held in private collections in numerous countries. More…

Ella Cisha studied photography at the PLSP art school in Gdynia and graduated from the University of Winchester. After a long creative break, she rediscovered her passion for art during an art residency workshop in Tenerife. This experience inspired her to return to painting and further explore her artistic language. Her ‘balancing rocks’ seen on the way to Mount Teide, best capture the island's impressions.

Anna Moon – a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts. Her work, full of emotional expression, is distinguished by the dominance of blue, which gives the paintings depth and intensity. She specializes in acrylic and oil painting, experimenting with texture and light. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, including "Equestrian Art Exhibit" and "Red in Art."
