Natalia Biegalaska
Exhibition
Natalia Biegalska is a graduate of Katarzyna Kobro High School with specialisation textile art.
She studied at the Faculty of Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, receiving Master's degree from the Faculty of Textiles and Clothing. Her diploma supervises works in her main specialisation – textiles and graphic functions.
During her studies, she participated in various competitions and exhibitions.
In August 2017, she was invited to the Philippines to present her series of paintings, "Painting with Knives." These 46 works, created using painting tools, were presented at exhibitions in Manila. Natalia's works are held by Filipino politicians and celebrities.
Natalia Biegalska's works are distinguished by an expressive approach to color and figurativeness, deeply rooted in the observation of everyday life. The artist employs an intense, almost synthetic color palette dominated by contrasts and carefully considered color combinations. The compositions are grounded in reality, yet clearly transformed—balancing on the border between realism and subjective reinterpretation. Characteristic of her style are close-ups of figures in moments of reflection, rest, or suspension—seemingly insignificant, yet filled with emotional tension. Frequent shots from car interiors, private spaces, or from the perspective of an observer give the paintings an intimate, almost voyeuristic dimension.
